Couple in Rectangular Reliquary

Reliquaries are unique structures create by worshippers to house something sacred and holy. I make structures that contain something I believe to be sacred: a homosocial relationship. Within this reliquary, a homosocial couple is viewable through ornate paper arches. The arches are within a balcony-like structure that is built into the rectangular reliquary.

The reliquary hangs on a wall and is discreet and not very deep. Art registry number and information are on the back.
